Work is completed by qualified electricians, notified to your network operator and certified under Part P.

Chargers we install

All four are smart, 7kW single-phase units suitable for overnight charging on a cheap EV tariff. The right one depends on whether you have solar, which tariff you are on, and how much control you want.

What changes the price

Every quote is confirmed after a survey, but installations usually fall into one of three bands.

Standard install — £995

Charger within about 10 metres of the consumer unit, straightforward cable route, single-phase supply with adequate capacity, no earthing upgrade needed.

Extended install — £1,095

Longer cable runs, an outbuilding or garage feed, surface trunking, or a second-fix through awkward walls.

Complex install — £1,195

Consumer unit or earthing upgrades, buried armoured cable, load management for limited supplies, or integration with an existing solar and battery system.

What the price includes

  • Site survey and charger recommendation
  • Supply, fitting and commissioning of the unit
  • Isolation, protective devices and load management where required
  • DNO notification and Building Regulations Part P certification
  • Set-up of the app, tariff schedule and charge limits
  • Manufacturer warranty registration

Prices are guide prices for single-phase domestic installations and are confirmed after a free survey. Three-phase supplies, consumer unit replacements beyond the works described, groundworks and unusually long cable runs are quoted separately.
