We are an independent used car retailer based at Unit 6, Viking Business Centre, Swadlincote, serving Derby, Burton, Ashby and the wider East Midlands.
Viewings and test drives are by appointment, seven days a week, 09:00 – 20:00.
We sell used electric and plug-in hybrid cars, so every car we buy is assessed on battery condition, charging behaviour and real-world range rather than just age and mileage.
Each car gets a mechanical and safety inspection, an HPI provenance check, a service and MOT history review and a battery health assessment before it goes on sale.
Pure Volts handles solar pv, battery storage and ev charger installation. That side of the business is where our EV knowledge comes from, and it means we can advise on home charging when you buy.
We spent years installing solar panels, battery storage and home chargers, and the same question kept coming up: which used electric car should I actually buy? Too many were being sold with no meaningful information about the battery, the single most valuable component in the car.
The EV Collection exists to fix that. We publish battery health, verified mileage, MOT status and previous owner count on every car, so you can compare like with like before you commit.
We buy from main dealer part-exchanges, ex-lease and fleet returns, and directly from private owners. Anything with recorded structural damage, an outstanding finance interest we cannot clear or a battery in poor condition is rejected rather than retailed.
